When Marty Schwerter and the Toyota Motorsports Garage team wanted to push the boundaries of their highly anticipated hot hatch, I was brought on board to design the GR Corolla Rally Concept for SEMA 2022. The mission was clear: take the 300-horsepower, AWD beast and dial its rally DNA past the absolute limit. Working alongside Marty’s elite fabrication crew, we conceptualized a menacing, hyper-functional widebody stance featuring massive three inch steel fender flares, custom 3D printed rear vents, and an elephantine carbon-fiber rear wing. Translating wild digital blueprints into a pavement-tearing, track-ready reality, this project is a perfect example of what happens when unapologetic automotive art meets pure motorsport engineering.
